Southampton Living Well’s Christmas Card Collection

We have teamed up with ASDA Eastleigh to help reduce loneliness for older people across Southampton over the festive period.

With over half a million older people across the UK expecting to feel lonely this Christmas we want to spread the Christmas cheer by ensuring everyone we support at Southampton Living Well receives a Christmas card.

Monday 9 December marked the launch of our post box in the ASDA Eastleigh store. With your help we would like to receive donated Christmas cards with a message written inside wishing an older person a Merry Christmas. Please post the card in our letter box in the envelope which must be unsealed and not addressed. The last day of post is Monday 15 December.

We know that these kind donations of Christmas cards will make a real difference to those we support, at what can be a difficult time of year without friends or family.  The cards donated will be handed out across our five hubs in Southampton at their Christmas parties.
